Amazing Videos of Dave Turner’s Record Paraglider Adventures Over Whitney and the Sierras

First Complete Crossing of California’s High Sierra from Dave Turner on Vimeo.

Dave Turner in July 2013 became the first person to cross High Sierra in a paraglider or hang glider

He went from Owens Valley over Sequoia National Park’s peaks (including Whitney) at times above 17,000 feet, before landing in an orange grove near Lake Kaweah-where.

Two weeks later he flew a record 7 1/2 hours after setting a new open-distance paragliding record: 172.2 miles.

Needless to say he has some pretty amazing videos on his website
